Development Alternatives Group
The Development Alternatives Group was set up in 1983 — the world’s first social enterprise dedicated to creating sustainable solutions to the problems of poverty and environmental degradation, particularly in India and the global south.
We are introducing a new ecological wellbeing framework that we hope will help cities across the world to promote community engagement and whole-systems thinking. Through actively engaging communities, and encouraging the creation of social hubs, we hope to help join up the dots, identify the gaps and develop practical solutions by working from the grassroots up.

SOSTE is an umbrella organisation of Finnish social and health sector NGOs with over 230 members. The actions of promotion have been manifold including knowledge base building, direct advocacy and network establishing. SOSTE has also been developing useful concepts for Wellbeing Economy such as Wellbeing Investment and Wellbeing Production.

The Schumacher Center for a New Economics is a visionary organization that builds on the ideas concepted by the economic counterculturist E. F. Schumacher – whose vision of a new economics revolved not around fossils, industry, capital and endless growth, but rather local communities, land, and endemic resources.
The mission of the Happiness Alliance is to awaken happiness in all beings. Since 2010, we have been providing tools, including the Happiness Index, resources and knowledge for a new economic paradigm. We are a data driven organization with deep heart connections to what it means to be happy in life. The Happiness Index, based on Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness philosophy, is freely available to anyone.
It is fundamental to all our efforts to transform our economy and society and create a system that works for all and the planet. We are convening and supporting youth to respond to the planetary emergency, and build their own social and environmental change.

Climate Psychology Alliance Scotland
We work with psychologists, psycho-social experts, group therapists and any other discipline to examine why people don’t engage well enough in climate change. We use psycho-social techniques to tell people what is happening and what they can do about it to help fight issues like climate change, and build a better society and economy.
