WEAll Iceland

Iceland is one of the three founding members of the Wellbeing Economy Governments (WEGo) initiative.

WEAll Ambassador and Global Council member Kristin Vala Ragnasdottir (known as Vala) was instrumental in Iceland’s decision to be part of WEGo and she continues to engage with the Icelandic government.

Vala is also the founder of the emerging WEAll Iceland hub, hosting inclusive salons in her own home to discuss new economy ideas, taking to the streets alongside the Fridays for Future movement to raise awareness of the wellbeing economy, and running the pioneering AdaptEcon PhD programme.
